Mark Kahrhoff, O.D.

Kahrhoff2... joined Webster Eye Care in 2014. Prior to joining, he served in the USAF at Keesler Air Force Base, where he founded a specialty contact lens service and directed the Student Extern Program with responsibility for clinical training of optometry students from across the country.

Dr. Kahrhoff has taught at the University of Missouri College of Optometry in the areas of systemic and ocular pharmacology, ocular anatomy and physiology, physiological optics, and problem-based clinical analysis.  He has developed contact lens education programs for Air Force optometrists and ophthalmologists and lectured military physicians on evaluation of eye trauma.

Dr. Kahrhoff is a lead author and inventor on multiple patent applications filed with the US Patent Office for innovations in ocular drug delivery and regenerative ocular medicine.  Along with Drs. John Crane and Edward Jarka, Dr. Kahrhoff was among the first optometrists to provide platelet rich plasma therapy to patients with dry eye diseases.  He is a co-inventor of "The Electronic Eyelid," a prosthetic blinking device designed for a child who had lost his ability to blink due a brain tumor and "The Freedom Reader," a low vision aid that converted printed text to speech

Dr. Kahrhoff practices the full scope of optometry and enjoys seeing patient of all ages. He resides in Webster Groves. While not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters.

John Crane, O.D.

 joined Webster Eye Care in the fall of 2014.  Previously, Dr. Crane has practiced in the St. Louis metro area in various modes of practice.  For over 10 years he taught ocular disease and clinical problem-solving in the classroom and clinics at the College of Optometry at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, with special interest in glaucoma, ocular infection, and ocular surface/dry eye disease.  He has worked extensively with Dr. Kahrhoff on the use of platelet-rich plasma for the treatment of ocular surface disease.    

Dr. Crane is currently accepting patients on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.  

 Dr. Crane was raised in the Washington, Missouri area, and now resides in Washington.  He serves on the church council of Zion United Church of Christ in Union, Missouri.  When not seeing patients, Dr. Crane enjoys spending time with his partner Karissa and son Ian, as well as canoeing, hiking, camping, and reading.

Cathy Radakovic, O.D.

... joined Webster Eye Care in November 2017. Catherine J. Radakovic was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received a BS degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis and completed her graduate studies in optometry at NOVA Southeastern University, College of Optometry. During her time in optometry school she was recognized for her clinical skills in pediatrics and binocular vision by receiving the COVD award for excellence in vision therapy. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2003 and practiced in Southern California until the fall of 2012, when she relocated to St. Louis to be closer to family.

Dr. Radakovic has always practiced behavioral optometry in a private practice setting where she feels she can give her patients the best one on one care possible. She has also worked directly with school districts in California to provide vision therapy services to those children in Special Education, coordinating her treatment plan for vision with the plans of the physical therapists and occupational therapists of the district.

Dr. Radakovic is a staff member at the SSM Rehabilitation hospital, where she provides visual consultations and recommendations for those patients who have been affected by recent head injuries and strokes.

Dr. Radakovic is currently accepting patients on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Dr. Radakovic is an active member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development, the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association. She currently lives in Creve Coeur with her husband Rob, and two boys, Wally and Joey. Dr. Radakovic enjoys hiking, running, snowboarding, and going to the movies.

Edward Jarka, O.D., M.S.

... joined Webster Eye Care in December 2017. Edward Jarka has been an optometrist for more than 30 years and a member of the faculty of the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry for over 14 years before retiring in December, 2017. In his early career as a clinician he has provided patient care in various clinical settings including private optometry practice, ophthalmology-optometry practices and as a hospital-based out-patient practice within the Veteran’s Administration. His ophthalmic research career has included experience in basic research and clinical research projects. In addition he was involved in product development research while serving as senior research optometrist at Ciba Vision. His research interests have centered on ocular surface disease and dry eye. Eight years ago, he began researching the clinical applications of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for ocular surface diseases. Dr. Jarka’s special interest includes meibomian gland dysfunction and ocular rosacea. He and his wife of 35 years (Martha) live in suburban St. Louis.

Dr. Jarka is currently accepting patients on Mondays.
